Karnaca Lighthouse
A beacon of guidance twisted into a conduit for chaos.
The Karnaca Lighthouse stands as a towering sentinel over the harbor of Serkonos, guiding ships into the bustling port city of Karnaca. While originally constructed to aid maritime trade and navigation, this structure becomes a focal point during the events of Dishonored 2. It serves not only as a physical landmark but as a metaphysical anchor where the boundaries between the material world and the Void grow thin.

Lore & Background
This corruption was intentional. Delilah sought to harness the lighthouse as a focal point for her magical ambitions, using its height and visibility to amplify her connection to the Outsider's power. It became a place where the veil between worlds was weakest, allowing the Outsider to manifest physically to warn Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin of the threat Delilah posed to reality itself.
In Their Own Story
The climb up the spiral stairs felt endless, each step echoing against the stone walls that smelled of salt and ozone. At the summit, the great lens did not burn with oil but pulsed with a sickly violet hue. Shadows danced on the railing, taking shapes that were too tall and too thin to be human. A figure stood by the railing, face obscured by dark tattoos, waiting as if time had stopped for him alone.
Reader's Guide
The Lighthouse is a pivotal mission area in Dishonored 2, characterized by verticality and tight corridors. Players must infiltrate the structure while avoiding Whaler patrols who guard the lower levels. Stealth is essential due to the heightened alertness of these cultists. Narratively, this location serves as a turning point where the protagonist learns the true extent of Delilah's theft of Void power. It matters because it sets the stage for the final confrontation by revealing the enemy's magical capabilities.
